New York, NY (May 10, 2012) GF55 Partners, an architecture and interior design firm based in New York City, announces new Green and Energy Efficiency services that it provides. As the standards for buildings in New York City demand more energy efficiency compliance, the requirements of documentation, analysis and inspection have increased. For example, new buildings completed with public money through HPD require an Enterprise Green Building process and HCR projects require a Green Development Plan. As architects with an expertise in Green and LEED certified projects, GF55 Partners is well suited for this work.
All New York City construction projects require new buildings to comply with the NYC Energy Conservation Code (NYCECC). In order to comply, a special envelope Inspection must be done and a TR8 Form needs to be submitted. GF55 Partners now performs this service.
GF55 Partners has obtained LEED Silver in completed buildings and the current workload includes several LEED application- stage projects. In conjunction with the Green Consultant, GF55 Partners prepares, submits and analyses materials, areas and systems. As LEEDS is an iterative process, GF55 investigates alternative products and methods to reach energy efficiency goals. During each phase of the project, GF55 assists the Consultants and Commissioning Agents to establish the factual basis for the LEED certification.
