Day School

Pepper Pike, OH

Located in suburban Cleveland, this 56,000 sq ft private school serves over 430 students from pre-kindergarten thru 8th grade. GF55 created 3 wings to distinguish between the grade levels: kindergarten, elementary, and middle school. The Media Center is the physical center of the building and the classroom wings radiate from it. It is encased in glass to let the natural light in and provide transparency. The main hallway is widened and is filled with natural light through clerestory windows. Behind the Media Center is a full court basketball gymnasium and a large multi-purpose room that serves as cafeteria, chapel and assembly room.
