301 W 118th St
New York, NY 10026
SoHa118, standing at 14 stories with 93 residential units, is one of the tallest buildings in South Harlem between 125th St and Central Park. It offers both market rate and affordable housing units consisting of one to three bedrooms, ranging from 730-2,250 sq ft. With spectacular views in all directions, this 185,000 sq ft mixed-used building has a contemporary feel but is designed to work with the existing traditional brick buildings and brownstones in Harlem. A two-story stone base anchors the red brick and metal panel façade with large corner windows. The lobby features reflective glass surrounding the floors, walls, and ceilings. It is on par with any high-end lobby with Jerusalem stone, marble, wood panels, and stainless steel completing the finish palette.
The building amenities include an interconnecting gym, children’s playroom, media room, and an elevated landscaped garden. Balconies, three levels of penthouses, and private roof terraces as large as 800 sq ft add to the uniqueness of SoHa118.
It was awarded “Project of the Year” by the New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH) for 2009.
