Located at 65-70 Austin Street, The Pointe is a seven-story multifamily building positioned in one of Queens’ emerging boroughs. The design for the 140-foot-long façade on Austin Street adapts to the urban scale of the neighborhood with an alternating arrangement of face brick and aluminum composite panels. The Ebony Ironspot brick, a reference to the architectural material that is characteristic of the neighborhood, serves as the foundation palette of the façade. Large silver aluminum panels provide a spatially and visually engaging streetscape. The brick pattern corbel on the ground floor further accentuates details at the pedestrian level. Expansive windows framed in aluminum provide natural light along with a view to the Rego Park neighborhood beyond.
